Bringing huge personality to a huge hotel

Challenge: Chelsea Toronto had been rebranded three times in five years. As the largest hotel in Canada, it didn’t fit within the rest of Langham Hotel Group’s portfolio of high-end properties. How could we reflect Chelsea’s friendly personality to promote more direct bookings?

Solution: We created a friendly, easy-to-use mid-level brand website that specifically aimed to pull bookings away from online travel agencies to the hotel website. We offered visitors additional information for an amazing Toronto experience, used site-wide friendly imagery, fun and personal copy, and a fully responsive tappable and clickable experience. Not only did bookings through the hotel’s website increase, but bounce rates lowered and users spent a longer time on the Hotel’s website.
